Wilderness Safaris
Wilderness Safaris is a for-profit organization which operates in several countries in south-east Africa. In their own words, they are “first and foremost a conservation company”. In addition to their responsible approach to ecotourism and conservation, we have witnessed first hand their compassion and commitment for the Malawian children in the community in which they operate. They do this through their program called “Children in the Wilderness”. The company is dedicated to helping children whose lives have been disrupted by life threatening conditions such as illness, poverty and the HIV / AIDS epidemic. Wilderness has a quality program using environmental education and other means to build self-esteem and equip children for the future.
Wilderness Safaris has been instrumental in supporting our efforts in Malawi by providing logistical assistance and direction to achieve our goals.
